Troubleshooting installation

When the installer is stopped or failed, check the statuses by the following steps.
  1. If the version is older than RaQuest Version 4.1, Check select Word Addin on environment which MS-Word is not installed.

  2. Is the user's right is changed to the administrative right in an elevation dialog?

  3. Restart the OS, and execute the installer with no other application is working.

  4. If the installer is in the network drive, copy the installer to the local drive and execute it.

  5. If the older version is installed, process the uninstallation from the OS's control panel, and execute the installer.

  6. If the version is older than RaQuest Version 3.2, process the followings before installation.
    Execute the command prompt as an administrator: regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\vbscript.dll (For 64 bits OS, execute: regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\vbscript.dll)

  7. If the above items do not make any difference, obtain the log by the following command, and send it to the support.
    In the command prompt, execute: "RaQuestXXXEn.msi /Log RaQuestLog.txt"
    (If the version is older than RaQuest Version 4.4, "RaQuestEn.exe /Log RaQuestLog.txt")
